Positive Parents

Dear Mr Ford,

I hope you are having a good weekend, I am sorry to disturb you.

Your help and advice would be greatly appreciated. Spellings have been completed.

Many thanks
( I hope you are impressed, you've even got me trying to use words not starting with letter t at the start of a sentence... C  has really said how much she is enjoying you teaching her English. She bursts through the door and tells me all about your lessons, especially last weeks ones when you were doing fun writing. Keep up the great work, I have never seen her so enthusiastically animated about English, thank you 😊)

Autumn English Department Book Look: October 21st 2015

Context (Summary)

The department presented examples of marking across all Key Stages, with mine being reviewed by the Head of Faculty.

Context (Evidence)

My marking is considered to be "Outstanding" with no targets given for further improvement due to all aspects of Self and Peer-Assessment (including SIR marking) being rigorous and robust. Below is an image of the feedback from this process:

In Half Term 2 I will be leading a 15 minute presentation during English Department Meeting on November ................. focusing on the following 2 areas:

1. Writing an analytical response
2. Self Assessment: Student tracking of responses
